Practice operations & workflow
Map front-office, clinical and administrative processes; identify bottlenecks; clarify task ownership; and redesign systems from the ground up.
Medical Practice Business Consulting
BeProductive works with physicians in large medical groups and independent practices to improve workflow, strengthen revenue-cycle processes, clarify accountability, and bring better visibility to the business behind the medicine.
Engagements can be focused reviews lasting a few weeks or continue as advisory support when the practice needs a steady operational resource.
How BeProductive Helps
A collection problem may begin in scheduling. A staffing issue may actually be a workflow issue. An unexplained variance may reflect weak controls, poor reporting, or something that requires deeper review. BeProductive looks across the operation rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Map front-office, clinical and administrative processes; identify bottlenecks; clarify task ownership; and redesign systems from the ground up.
Review billing flow, patient balances, denials, credits, payment posting, aging patterns and operational causes of revenue leakage.
Examine reporting, budget variances, payroll trends, vendor charges, authorization processes and the documentation supporting the numbers.
Align roles, capacity, supervision and reporting with what the practice actually needs—then build accountability into the daily workflow.
Focus on a defined concern—an unexplained financial movement, breakdown in controls, unusual trend or operational area that is not performing as represented.
Stay involved while new systems are introduced, measured and refined—or provide ongoing support as the practice grows and new issues emerge.
The BeProductive Ethos
The answer is rarely to ask good people to move faster through a broken system.
BeProductive maps the work, removes unnecessary friction, places controls where they matter, makes responsibility visible, and gives leadership information early enough to act. The objective is a practice that performs more reliably without depending on constant heroics.
About the Founder
Andrea Palmer has spent more than 15 years helping physicians navigate the operational and financial side of medical practice. Her experience includes supporting doctors within large medical groups, working directly with solo practitioners, and advising smaller healthcare businesses where every process and every staff decision has an immediate impact.
Her approach begins at ground level. Andrea learns how work actually moves through the practice, where information is lost, which functions lack ownership, and how operational decisions translate into financial results. She then rebuilds systems around the reality of the practice—not around a generic consulting template.
Engagements may be short, focused assignments lasting a few weeks, broader implementation projects, or ongoing advisory relationships that continue as needed. The scope is designed around the problem and the physician's objectives.
Andrea's CFE training complements her medical-practice background with structured methods for examining financial irregularities, testing explanations against source records, evaluating control failures and documenting findings.
How the Work Is Done
Every engagement is different, but the discipline remains consistent: understand the practice before prescribing a solution, connect operational facts to financial consequences, and stay close enough to implementation to know whether the change is working.
Understand the physicians' concerns, the staff experience and what leadership believes is happening.
Trace the actual workflow, reports, handoffs, approvals and systems—not merely the written procedure.
Separate symptoms from underlying operational, financial, staffing or control failures.
Create practical processes, assign ownership, establish controls and support the team through change.
Confirm that the solution is producing the intended result and adjust as the practice evolves.
Engagement Options
The engagement should fit the problem—not the other way around. BeProductive can be brought in for a contained review or remain involved as changes are implemented and new priorities arise.
A concentrated engagement to understand one issue, identify the cause, quantify the impact and provide a clear action plan.
Hands-on work with physicians and staff to redesign systems, establish accountability and move the practice through implementation.
Continued support for leadership as performance is monitored, controls are strengthened and new operational questions emerge.
Forensic Insight
A process can be inefficient. A control can fail. A report can be wrong. Sometimes, however, the pattern warrants a deeper examination. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, Andrea knows how to distinguish ordinary breakdowns from facts that require further investigation.
Selected Experience
Representative examples are anonymized to protect client confidentiality.
Reviewed patient collections, eligibility, billing workflow, balances and task ownership. Identified substantial process gaps and rebuilt day-to-day systems around clearer accountability and follow-through.
Helped physicians connect what was happening on the ground to the reports and systems affecting performance, identify bottlenecks, and create more practical ways to manage work across teams.
Identified and documented a significant fraud scheme, developed the underlying evidence and worked alongside legal counsel through the recovery process.
